Singer and Model Samantha Fox Kicked Off Plane
The British star, who rose to fame in the ’80s, has been accused by police of getting in a dispute with another passenger on a British Airways flight.
Samantha Fox was reportedly arrested for allegedly causing a drunken disturbance on a flight ahead of take off.
According to The Sun, the singer/model, 56, was kicked off a British Airways flight after allegedly getting in a dispute with another passenger, leading to her arrest.
The performer, who rose to fame in the ‘80s, reportedly spent one night in jail.
Authorities told the outlet that they arrested a woman in her 50s “on suspicion of being drunk on board an aircraft.”
he Sun reports that the plane, which was scheduled to fly from London’s Heathrow Airport to Munich, Germany, turned around on the jetway and returned to the gate, due to the incident. Passengers are said to have de-boarded the aircraft and spent the night in a hotel before they were able to take the postponed flight the next day.
Before Fox rose to fame with her music career, she garnered attention and a fanbase in the U.K. by posing as a Page 3 girl in The Sun. Following a successful modeling career with the tabloid, which ran from 1983 to 1986, she shifted her focus to music.
